Nikhil Patel

Nikhil Patel is an Associate with the firm and practices in the areas of patent prosecution, IP litigation, trademarks, and licensing. Nikhil’s technical experience includes electrical and computer technology, medical devices, and telecommunications. He works with entities ranging from sole inventors to large corporations in the domestic and international protection of their patents and trademarks.

Prior to joining the firm, Nikhil was employed with Textron Systems as a Computer Engineer, where he programmed the mapping system in the Terrain Commander Unit, a military apparatus used to detect and destroy low-flying aircraft, nearby vehicles, and hostile personnel, using Arcview and Visual C++. He also used C++ as a Computer Programmer with Electric Insurance Company in which he debugged insurance software such as V4 and Cliente.
