Timothy J. Meagher
Tim Meagher has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in diverse technical fields, including applications directed to telephony systems, voice-over IP networks, processors, optical networks and devices, digital television, video conferencing, image processing, software, electrical circuits, and medical devices. In addition, his practice includes counseling clients on infringement, validity, enforcement, freedom to operate, licensing, and due diligence, prosecuting trademark applications and handling domain name disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Tim was an electrical engineer with thirteen years of experience in the telecommunications industry. As a systems engineer with AT&T Bell Laboratories and Bellcore, he evaluated the performance of telephone switching systems for the Bell operating companies. As a product and marketing-manager at AT&T Network Systems, he addressed customer needs for transmission systems supporting voice, video, and personal communications services.
Tim has served as an Adjunct Professor of Patent Law with the Franklin Pierce Law Center.
