Associate Ron Demsher co presented at the Smaller Business Association of New England's (SBANE) Technology & Innovation Committee event "Protecting Intellectual Property" on September 29 from 7:30 - 10:00 a.m. at SBANE's Headquarters at 1601 Trapelo Road in Waltham, MA. 

SBANE Event Description:

The SBANE Technology and Innovation Committee is pleased to present a five-part series “Life Cycle of an Innovative Company” aimed at providing practical and practicable information on the major evolutionary phases of a technically focused enterprise. The New England region has a vibrant small business community dedicated to developing and manufacturing products and who face a common array of problems associated with bringing products with high technical content to market. Five separate events will bring together a combination of professional experts in conjunction with “been there – done that” business leaders who have navigated through these challenges to build successful companies.

Protecting Intellectual Property from business conception through product sales is essential to building enterprise value. Practical implementations of both patent and trademark protection, including international protection considerations, will be presented.
