In March, Principals Mary Murray and Scott Pierce met with representatives of the New Zealand Intellectual Property Office

Among the topics they discussed were some of the changes consequent to the New Zealand Patent Act 2013 (2013 Act), including some distinctions of patent eligibility in New Zealand patent law from current United States jurisprudence.  Mr. Mark Pritchard, Senior Advisor Patent Practice, Patents and Designs, Assistant Commissioner, who participated in drafting the 2013 Act, and Ms. Tao Morton, Stakeholder Engagement Manager, hosted Mary and Scott.
