Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds is pleased to be a sponsor of the Smaller Business Association of New England's (SBANE) 2013-2014 Breakfast Series, which provides monthly seminars on various topics.  "Sharing the Sandbox: How to Build a World-Class Organization in the 21st Century" was held on May 21, 2014 from 7:30 - 9:00am at the Westin Hotel in Waltham, MA.

SBANE Event Description:

SBANEBuilding great organizations in the 21st century is about alignment, clarity, simplicity and direction.  Good leaders provide this, and good teammates support this.  In turn, everyone is able to collaborate to develop well-aligned teams and organizations.  In this talk, Dean Brenner will share five simple concepts for clear and effective communication that will in turn create better teams within your organization.  This talk draws on Dean’s experiences leading the U.S. Olympic Sailing Program, and coaching and training The Latimer Group’s Fortune 500 clients.

Dean is a recognized expert in team and leadership communication in the 21st century.  He has coached, led, and been a part of professional and athletic teams his entire adult life, from the Fortune 500 corporate board room to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China and the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England.

Dean brings a unique background to his presentations.  His corporate client list includes some of the most well-known and respected companies in the world, with clients on five continents.  He is a published author.  He has served as the Chairman and Team Leader for the U.S. Olympic Sailing Program.  He has won seven national and five international sailing championships.  And he narrowly missed a spot on the 2000 Olympic Sailing Team, finishing second at the national selection trials.
