In this talk, Mark Ethier, CEO of iZotope, and Bill Joiner, President of ChangeWise, Inc., will engage in a conversation that will reveal some of Mark's most important learning experiences in leading an early-stage company. He will describe difficult challenges he faced, and how he was able to reframe these challenges to bring them to resolution and propel his company forward. Throughout, Mark and Bill will reference key concepts and methods that you can apply to your own leadership challenges. They will conclude with a Q&A that will invite you into the conversation.

Mark Ethier is the co-founder and CEO of iZotope, an industry-leading audio technology company based in Cambridge, MA. Mark holds degrees in both Music and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is a member of the Boston Committee for the New York Chapter of The Recording Academy®. Over the last decade, Mark has worked with many of the world's leading musicians and audio professionals to develop innovative audio products and technology used by millions of people in over 50 countries.

iZotope was recently honored with an Emmy® Award for Outstanding Achievement in Engineering Development for its flagship audio repair suite, RX®. iZotope was also recently honored by the Boston Globe as a "Top Place to Work" and honored by the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) with a 2014 Innovation Award, recognizing innovation in the field of audio technology.

Bill Joiner is an international thought-leader on agile leadership. He is President of ChangeWise, a Boston-based leadership and organization development consulting firm that, together with its partners around the world, provides consulting, leadership workshops and coaching services that help leaders develop and organizations grow. His most recent articles include "Creating a Culture of Agile Leaders" and "Leadership Agility: A Global Imperative." He earned his BA and MBA at Southern Methodist University and his Doctorate in Organization Development at Harvard.
