Kristen practices primarily in the area of patent prosecution.  Her experience includes the drafting and prosecution of applications in the fields of biomedical engineering, medical and imaging devices, mechanical devices, biotechnology, computer systems, electronics, and software. Kristen also has experience with due diligence matters, including the preparation of freedom to operate and patentability opinions, and has assisted in patent and trademark litigations.

Prior to joining the firm, Kristen worked in industry and at Massachusetts General Hospital in various roles.  Most recently, she was the Director of Operations of the MGH Imaging Trials Center where she was responsible for operational functions of the center, project management of industry and NIH-funded clinical research studies, and supervision of research staff.  Kristen’s background includes experience in medical imaging research in both academic and industry settings, as well as development of web-based imaging review and training platforms. Her experience conducting both NIH-funded and Phase II-III industry-funded clinical trials ranges across multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology, arthritis, obesity, and cardiovascular studies, as well as several imaging modalities, including CT, MR, DXA, PET and mammography.

Kristen obtained her J.D., cum laude and graduated with distinction in the Intellectual Property Law concentration from Suffolk University Law School.  Kristen also served as a Comment Editor for the Suffolk University Law Review.

Kristen is fluent in Greek and conversant in French.
