Clean energy has become a rapidly developing field of innovation, driven largely by increased awareness for the need to counter global warming and reduce fossil fuel dependence, and the outlook for grid parity in the near future.  Clean energy technologies produce fewer pollutants and reduce the emission of carbon dioxide¾one of the main known greenhouse gases.
