About the Speaker: Joseph Ramadei – Partner, Gennari Aronson, LLP & Board Member, MDG Boston

Joe Ramadei is a seasoned corporate and transactional lawyer with a well-earned reputation for finding collaborative solutions in challenging negotiations. Joe’s work with companies spans the entire corporate life-cycle, including entity selection, general corporate representation and counseling, licensing, venture capital financings, initial public offerings, securities compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Joe advises both public and private companies in a wide range of industries, including enterprise software and Saas, medical devices, healthcare and information technology, outdoor advertising and surety insurance, professional services, media, and other industries. He has substantial experience in structuring and negotiating venture capital financings, ranging from seed stage to later series rounds, and also mergers & acquisitions, including both buy-side and sell-side transactions. Joe also advises a number of early stage companies and entrepreneurs on company formation and equity allocation as well as strategies for financing and equity compensation.

Prior to joining Gennari Aronson, Joe was an associate at major law firms in Boston and New York City, including Goodwin Procter and Chadbourne & Parke, where he worked on a variety of corporate, licensing and securities matters for private and publicly held clients.

Joe holds a J.D from Cornell Law School, cum laude, and a B.A. in American Studies from Cornell University.
