John joined the firm in 2026 as Director of Finance and brings over 35 years of extensive experience in accounting and finance, and recently was the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Finance & Administration for a family-owned consumer packaged goods company in Woburn, Massachusetts. He was involved with all operational aspects of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, banking, information technology, and team leadership. Formerly, John had been with a marketing/database management firm based out of Boston, Massachusetts, as Corporate Treasurer and Controller, starting off at an affiliate in Chicago, Illinois, as Corporate Controller, before relocating to Boston.
In addition to his professional experience, John has also taught many undergraduate and graduate accounting and finance courses at Massachusetts colleges and universities for the past 23 years.
As Director of Finance, John is responsible for all areas of the firm’s financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis. He also oversees core financial functions that include billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, and serves as primary administrator of the firm’s retirement assets. John also manages and coordinates the annual audit and tax functions and advises the Management Committee on financial and operational matters regarding short and long-term initiatives.
