
Rae assists clients with protecting their intellectual property in a diverse array of fields, including chemistry, biology, physics, and artificial intelligence. She has technical expertise in bioinorganic chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, artificial intelligence, organic chemistry, materials science, biomolecular simulation, and cheminformatics. In particular, Rae has conducted research on protein signaling mechanisms, inorganic semiconductors, biosensors, and AI methods for drug discovery.
Before joining the firm, Rae worked as a patent agent at a general practice law firm. Her professional experience includes patent drafting and prosecution, IP due diligence investigations, including conducting freedom-to-operate searches and analyses, and preparing office action responses.
