Sam Sussman Elected to Serve on the Board of Directors of the Federal Bar Association – Massachusetts Chapter

Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds is excited to announce that Sam Sussman, an Associate at Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds, was newly elected to serve on the Federal Bar Association (FBA) – Massachusetts Chapter Board of Directors.

As an FBA Board Member, Sam will perform Board duties assigned by the FBA President. Along with the other Board Members, he will help conceive, plan, and organize events held by the Massachusetts Chapter of the FBA. 

Sam is also co-chair of the FBA’s Intellectual Property Law Section of the Massachusetts Chapter. The IP Section Committee’s goal is to promote Massachusetts as a venue for jurisdiction for intellectual property litigation and to educate and train lawyers in practicing before the Massachusetts District Court. As a member of the Intellectual Property Law Section, Sam helps organize and participates in bi-yearly events, with judicial participation.

Sam’s practice includes patent and trademark litigation matters before the Massachusetts Federal Court and other Federal Jurisdictions. He has extensive experience as a litigator protecting and asserting clients’ rights in patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright cases. In patent matters, Samuel has experience in preparing inter partes review and post-grant review petitions that have succeeded in the institution of trials by the PTAB of the USPTO.
