"Innovation in Life Sciences as a Driver for Growth: a French American Challenge"

2013 French American Innovation DayHamilton Brook Smith Reynolds is pleased to be a sponsor of the 2013 French American Innovation Day, which was held from December 5-6, 2013 at Harvard Medical School. Presenting at the event was Dave Brook, a Principal and Co-Founder of Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds, on Thursday, December 5, in a roundtable discussion at 11:15am on "Alliance Management: A True Necessity to Combine Cultures."

The objective of the French American Innovation Day is to analyze the challenges encountered channeling creativity from research into business and, ultimately, healthcare. The symposium will also look at how these challenges are met in France and the United States while we seek to foster strategic partnerships between our two countries.

Roundtable discussions included:

  • Open innovation: fad or strategy?
  • Alliance management: a true necessity to combine cultures
  • Patent advocacy associations: a catalyst for innovation.

During the second day, French and American Life Sciences startups discussed their operations.

Also, attending the French American Innovation Day was Rebecca Simmons.
