Laurie joined the firm in 1990 and has been instrumental in ensuring the accounting department was structured to meet the needs of the firm during its growth over the past 30 years.

Her expertise is in accounting and finance for law firms and she has extensive experience with retirement plan conversions/restructuring.

As Director of Finance, Laurie oversees all areas of the firm’s financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis.  She is also responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll, general ledger, shareholder compensation, as well as serving as the primary administrator of the firm’s retirement assets.  Laurie is co-creator and a leading member of the retirement plan Administrative Committee.  Laurie oversees audit and tax functions and coordinates activities with outside audit firms.  She works closely with the Executive Director to identify and implement strategic financial initiatives for the firm. 

Prior to joining the firm, Laurie worked at Fish & Richardson in Boston where she started out as a Northeastern University co-op student and later served as the Accounting Manager.
