What the Canadian and European Patent Experience Can Teach Us About Key AIA Provisions

When
November 30, 2011

Deirdre E. Sanders will serve as co-chair of the BPLA Seminar, “Lessons Learned: What the Canadian and European Patent Experience Can Teach Us About Key AIA Provisions” on November 30, 2011.

At the seminar, expert Canadian and European practitioners will contrast their respective patent systems with key provisions of the new Leahy-Smith America Invents Act (AIA), including the modified "first-to-file" system (“first inventor to file”) and the new third-party post-grant review process. The speakers will describe the challenges of their systems, and provide insight to help you develop strategies to maximize patent value under the new AIA system. If you plan to practice under the new U.S. Patent Laws, you will not want to miss this seminar.
