Daniel Fleisher has Joined Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds as an Associate

Concord and Boston, MA - Leading intellectual property law firm Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds is pleased to announce that Daniel Fleisher has joined the firm as an Associate on the Electrical/Mechanical team.

Also, Dan’s prior role as a patent examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) provides some wonderful insights on recent analyses at the USPTO.”

Dan focuses his practice on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the electrical and software fields, as well as on supporting litigation in patent and other intellectual property contested matters. He has extensive technical knowledge in computer software, artificial intelligence/machine learning, natural language processing, computer hardware, graphics processing, audio processing, networking, security, and mobile communications, including mobile standards.

Before joining the firm, Dan worked as a patent examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he examined applications in the fields of electronic games and wagering, and education, demonstration, and simulation. Prior to beginning his legal career, Dan was a software developer in the investment banking industry for several years, where he designed systems for equity derivative risk management, cash equities trading, and equities research. He also developed software for various other companies in fields such as computer-adaptive testing and medical informatics.

Dan is a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law. His education also includes a Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science, at Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
