Hamilton, Brook, Smith & Reynolds, P.C. Elects Bin Wang, Ph.D. and Keith Wood as Principals

Hamilton, Brook, Smith & Reynolds, P.C. is pleased to announce that Bin Wang, Ph.D., and Keith Wood have been elected as Principals of the firm.

Bin Wang, Ph.D., received her doctorate in Molecular Biology from the University of Texas and her J.D. from Baylor University Law School. She has extensive experience across all phases of patent prosecution. Bin applies her education and experience in biology to her legal practice, which focuses on protecting rights in biotechnology and pharmaceutical inventions. Bin has represented biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, venture capital firms, and academic institutions in patent drafting and prosecution, global portfolio development, and invalidity and non-infringement analyses. She has advised clients on a wide range of matters involving oncology, immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, microbiology, and biochemistry.

Keith Wood earned his undergraduate degree in Physics from Harvard University and his J.D. from Boston College Law School. He is a seasoned intellectual property practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in U.S. and international patent law. His practice focuses on patent prosecution, post-grant proceedings, and strategic intellectual property counseling, with particular emphasis on Inter Partes Review (IPR) proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Keith has experience across a broad range of technologies, including semiconductor manufacturing, graphene-based materials, microfluidics, medical devices, optics, sensor systems, and clean energy. He advises start-ups, universities, and multinational companies on building and managing patent portfolios aligned with long-term research, development, and commercialization strategies.
