John DuPré Recognized as a Global Leader by World Trademark Review for 2026

John DuPré, Senior Counsel at Hamilton Brook Smith Reynolds, has been named a “Global Leader in Private Practice” for Massachusetts in the eighth edition of World Trademark Review (WTR) Global Leaders.
The WTR Global Leaders guide recognizes the world's leading trademark professionals in private practice and industry. Selection is based on research conducted for the WTR 1000 and recognizes practitioners with outstanding expertise, experience, and reputations in the trademark field.
John has more than four decades of experience counseling clients on trademark, copyright, licensing, and other intellectual property matters. He assists clients in developing, protecting, and enforcing valuable trademark portfolios and has represented companies ranging from startups to multinational corporations across a wide range of industries.
Earlier this year, John was recognized for the ninth consecutive year in the Gold category for trademark prosecution and strategy in the 2026 edition of the WTR 1000. WTR praised John as “an expert in the IP field and a ‘go to’ for trademark matters in the US, no matter how complex.”
